Awards

Khaleel received many important awards in art and literature at a very young age. He bagged the Kerala Cartoon Academy Award for cartoon/caricature at the age of 16. He became the youngest award winner in the history of Kerala Cartoon Academy in this category. Khaleel won 15 significant awards from India and abroad within 30 years of his age. He received the first Thoolika Award for young writers in 1992, MP Narayana Pillai Award for young writers in 2000 (along with MV Devan's "Devaspandam"), and Malayattoor Award for short story in 2002 (along with M Mukundan's novel).
Thrills of all these awards have been enriching Khaleel's creativity.

Khaleel, who used to present a programme called "Ayalkkoottam" in Asianet Ratio in Dubai, attends one of the programmes of Asianet in Dubai in the presence of Indian Ambassador and Reji Menon of Asianet.

   
                               
       

Dubai KMCC Sahrudaya Vedi honours Khaleel for winning the MP Narayana Pillai Award for young writers in 2000. Puthur Rahman, president of UAE KMCC gives away the memento to Khaleel in the presence of businessman Yahya Thalankara and KK Moideen Koya of Jeevan TV.
